GE IC670CHS001E is a standard I/O carrier base module for GE Fanuc (Emerson) Field Control distributed field control systems. It serves as the basic hardware carrier for IC670 series field I/O modules, responsible for mechanical fixing, power distribution, bus signal transmission and wiring transition.

The carrier supports installing 2 pieces of IC670 series I/O modules simultaneously, with built-in bus backplane and insulation protection structure. 4. Working Principle


  1. Physical Installation & Positioning: The carrier base is fixed horizontally via DIN rail or wall mounting, and two I/O modules are precisely inserted and locked to complete mechanical assembly.

  2. Power & Bus Conduction: The built-in backplane bus and power distribution circuit supply stable working power to I/O modules and establish system communication links.

  3. On-site Signal Aggregation: Field device signals are connected to the base terminal block, and transmitted to the corresponding I/O modules through internal wiring for signal collection.
