IC697CPX928-CD is a high-end high-performance central processing unit module for the GE Fanuc Series 90-70 PLC platform and serves as the flagship master controller of the Series 90-70 family. IV. Working Principle


  1. Power-on Initialization & Self-test: The CPU receives 5VDC power from rack backplane and automatically completes hardware self-check, core initialization, flash firmware loading, RAM verification and communication port detection after power-up; it enters RUN or STANDBY mode once no hardware faults are confirmed.
