                                                                                  Introduction:

           Fluoride transparent ceramics possess the characteristics of high transparency, stable optical performance,

 excellent chemical stability and superior mechanical properties, and have therefore attracted widespread attention. They are mainly applied in the fabrication of mid-infrared optical devices, infrared sensors and other related fields.

          Rare-earth doped fluoride nanopowders are synthesized by the precipitation method, which enables uniform 

mixing of doped ions and reduces the content of impurity elements in raw materials. Particle size of the powder 

can be effectively controlled by process optimization. Through vacuum hot-press sintering and hundreds of process 

experiments, more reasonable sintering temperature and pressing pressure have been explored. High-performance 

rare-earth doped fluoride transparent ceramics can be produced in small batches, including CaF₂ transparent ceramics 

doped with various rare-earth ions such as Nd, Yb, Pr, Ho and Tm, which can achieve watt-level continuous laser output.
