Performance Features of Double Crane Hook Forgings
Adequate Overload Capacity for Heavy Loads
Adopting an integral open-die forging process with a forging ratio of ≥5, the grain flow lines inside the carbon steel are continuously distributed along the force direction of the hook, with no welded joints or laminar defects. The structure is dense and uniform (ASTM Grade 6-7), the breaking load is more than 4 times the rated load, and the single hook load capacity covers 10-200 tons, meeting the needs of ultra-heavy lifting operations.
Excellent Impact Resistance and Toughness
After quenching and tempering (quenching + high-temperature tempering) plus local induction hardening of the hook opening, the hardness of the hook body is 220-250HB, the hardness of the load-bearing surface of the hook opening is 250-280HB, the impact energy (KV ℃) is ≥50J, and the impact energy at low temperature (-20℃) is still ≥40J, which can resist sudden impact loads during lifting operations.
High Structural Precision and Stability
After integral open-die forging forming, followed by CNC machining and shaping, the symmetry of the double hook is ≤0.8mm, the hook opening tolerance is ±1.5mm, the hook neck diameter tolerance is Grade h9, the surface roughness Ra≤6.3μm, and the residual stress is ≤80MPa, ensuring resistance to deformation and cracking under long-term heavy load use.
High Flexibility for Non-Standard Customization
The open-die forging process is suitable for complex structures and large specifications. We can customize 10-200 ton class double crane hooks according to customer drawings, supporting personalized design of single hook throat diameter 80-800mm and hook body length 500-5000mm. Compatible with carbon steel and low-alloy carbon steel materials such as 20MnSi, 35CrMo and 45#, meeting the non-standard requirements of special lifting equipment.
