Flat Steel Product Detailed Specification
1. Product Definition
Flat steel is a long strip section steel with a rectangular cross-section and slightly blunt edges. It is widely used as finished products directly or raw materials for welded pipes and thin plates.
2. Product Classification
2.1 By Production Process
Hot Rolled Flat Steel: Rolled under high temperature, with stable mechanical properties and cost-effective. Slight oxide scale on surface, widely used in construction and machinery industry.
Cold Drawn Flat Steel: Cold drawing process with high dimensional accuracy, smooth surface, suitable for precision mechanical parts.
Bright Flat Steel: Processed by cold drawing, pickling and polishing, no oxide layer with high gloss, applied to high-end decoration and equipment manufacturing.
2.2 By Material Grade
Carbon Structural Steel: Q235B / Q355B, high cost performance, used for supports and structural parts.
High-quality Carbon Steel: 45# steel, excellent toughness and machinability, for transmission and precision components.
Low Alloy High Strength Steel: Q355, high strength and low temperature resistance, for bridges, ships and heavy machinery.
2.3 By Application
