Precision Steel Pipe Product Detailed Specification
1. Product Definition
Precision steel pipes are high-precision pipes manufactured by cold drawing / cold rolling process, with dimensional accuracy up to ±0.05mm and surface finish of Ra≤0.8μm. There is no oxide layer on the inner and outer walls; they feature zero leakage under high pressure, and remain undeformed and uncracked during cold bending, flaring and flattening.
2. Production Process
Raw Material: Hot-rolled seamless pipe or high-quality carbon steel/alloy steel billet.
Forming: Cold drawing (single-pass/multi-pass) or cold rolling (three-roll/multi-roll), plastic deformation at normal temperature with refined grain structure.
Heat Treatment: Vacuum annealing / bright annealing to eliminate internal stress and improve toughness and dimensional stability.
Finishing: Straightening, fixed-length cutting, internal and external polishing/pickling, non-destructive testing (eddy current / ultrasonic testing).
Delivery Cycle: 5-7 days for standard specifications.
Shipping Port: Mainly Tianjin Port, available for shipment to major global ports.

Outer Diameter: φ6–φ120mm (standard), maximum up to φ325mm.
Wall Thickness: 1–20mm (standard), minimum 0.5mm.
Length: 6m fixed length or customized as per customer’s requirement (tolerance ±5mm).
Tolerance Grade:
Outer Diameter: ±0.05mm (Precision Grade) / ±0.1mm (Standard Grade).
Wall Thickness: ±5%–±10% (Precision Grade) / ±12.5% (Ordinary Hot Rolled Pipe).
Surface Roughness: Ra≤0.4μm (Mirror Grade) / Ra≤0.8μm (Standard Grade).
5. Mechanical Properties (Typical Value, 20#/45# Steel)
Tensile Strength: 20# ≥520MPa; 45# ≥600MPa.
Yield Strength: 20# ≥375MPa; 45# ≥520MPa.
Elongation: ≥10%–25% (adjustable according to material grade and heat treatment).
Hardness: HB 150–280 (tempering available on request).

9. Surface Treatment & Delivery Condition
Surface Treatment: Bright finish, pickling and passivation, phosphating, galvanizing, nickel plating, chrome plating (as required).
Delivery Condition: Annealed (Soft State) / Cold Bright (Hard State), vacuum packed for rust prevention.
10. Packaging & Shipment
Packaging: Bundled (50-200 pieces per bundle), inner plastic and outer woven bag with moisture-proof film; both ends sealed for dust and rust prevention.
Shipment: Delivery within 5-7 days, supporting FOB/CIFtrade terms.
11. Quality Control
Full Inspection Items: Dimensional tolerance, surface quality, mechanical properties, hydraulic/pneumatic pressure test, non-destructive testing (eddy current / ultrasonic).
Quality System: ISO 9001 certified; material certificate, inspection report and certificate of origin can be provided.
