Premium Billet Selection, Quality Control at the Source
The raw materials are alloy steel billets (40Cr, 35CrMo, 42CrMo, etc.) produced by electric arc furnace (EAF) melting + ladle furnace (LF) refining + vacuum degassing (VD). We strictly control sulfur and phosphorus impurity contents, conduct dual composition testing before and after furnace treatment to eliminate composition deviations, and ensure the basic mechanical properties, torsion resistance and alternating load resistance of forgings from the source.
Specialized Forging for Stepped Shafts, Optimized Metal Flow Lines
With a forging ratio of ≥3.0 (≥5.0 for heavy-duty shafts), we adopt a multi-stage upsetting + drawing + stepwise precision forging process. The metal flow direction is optimized according to the stress characteristics of different shaft diameter sections of the stepped shaft, ensuring continuous flow lines along the axial direction, full penetration and no defects at the shaft shoulder transition, significantly improving the torsion resistance and alternating load resistance of the shaft body.
Customized Heat Treatment, Balancing Strength and Toughness
We customize exclusive heat treatment solutions for different materials and fan operating conditions, using quenching and tempering (quenching + high-temperature tempering). By controlling the tempering temperature and cooling rate, the hardness uniformity of the forging is ±2HRC (conventional HRC28-32), effectively eliminating internal forging stress, balancing the strength, toughness and machinability of the shaft body, and avoiding deformation during subsequent processing and operation.
Precision Straightening & Finishing, Strict Geometric Tolerance Control
Equipped with special CNC straightening machines and finishing equipment for stepped shafts, we conduct multi-position straightening and dimension calibration on forgings. The key dimension tolerance is ≤±0.5mm, the bearing position concentricity is ≤0.02mm, the straightness is ≤0.4mm/m, and the shaft shoulder transition fillet is ≥5% of the shaft diameter, ensuring the geometric precision of the forgings meets the assembly requirements for high-speed fan operation.
