1. Product Overview
Alloy steel pipe is made of high-quality carbon steel as the base material, with chromium (Cr), molybdenum (Mo), nickel (Ni), manganese (Mn), vanadium (V), titanium (Ti), niobium (Nb) and other alloy elements added proportionally. It is manufactured through strict smelting, rolling and heat treatment processes to form seamless steel pipe.
By solid solution strengthening, dispersion strengthening and grain boundary strengthening of alloy elements, it significantly improves high-temperature strength, creep resistance, corrosion resistance, fatigue resistance and low-temperature toughness. It overcomes the defects of ordinary carbon steel pipe such as easy deformation, corrosion, cracking and insufficient bearing capacity under severe working conditions. It is a special pipe for core working conditions in electric power, petrochemical, energy, machinery, military and other industries.
Adopting seamless manufacturing technology, the pipe has no weld defects, uniform wall thickness, stable pressure bearing and balanced mechanical properties. It can operate stably for a long time under harsh environments such as high temperature, high pressure, acid-base corrosion, oil and gas medium and dust erosion, with far longer service life than ordinary steel pipes and outstanding cost performance.
2. Main Material Classification & Application Scope
2.1 Chromium-Molybdenum Heat-Resistant Alloy Steel Pipe
15CrMoG: Medium temperature heat-resistant alloy pipe with balanced chromium-molybdenum ratio. Long-term service temperature ≤550℃. It features excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance, creep strength and weldability, widely used for medium-pressure boilers, steam pipelines, heat exchangers and heat conduction oil pipelines.
12Cr1MoVG: Special alloy pipe for high-pressure boilers. Vanadium element is added to strengthen grain boundary, with greatly improved high-temperature strength and creep resistance. Long-term service temperature ≤580℃. Mainly applied to high-pressure boiler superheaters, reheaters, main steam pipelines and auxiliary power station pipelines.
10CrMo910 / P91 / P92: Ultra-fine grain heat-resistant alloy steel pipe manufactured by martensitic heat treatment process. Heat-resistant temperature up to 600-650℃, excellent creep and fatigue resistance. Specially used for supercritical and ultra-supercritical power station boilers and high-temperature main steam pipelines.
2.2 Corrosion-Resistant Alloy Steel Pipe
12Cr2Mo1R / HIC: Hydrogen-induced cracking resistant alloy pipe, anti-hydrogen sulfide and hydrogen corrosion. Dedicated to petroleum refining, hydrogenation units and coal chemical industry sulfur-containing medium transportation.
2.3 High-Strength Structural Alloy Steel Pipe
Materials including 42CrMo, 35CrMo, 27SiMn feature ultra-high tensile strength, yield strength and impact toughness. After quenching and tempering, the hardness is uniform, suitable for hydraulic cylinder barrels, mechanical transmission shafts, high-pressure gas cylinders, mining machinery and heavy-duty structural parts.

7. Selection, Installation & Operation Notes
7.1 Selection Guidelines
Match material strictly according to working temperature, design pressure, conveying medium and corrosive environment. Do not exceed rated temperature, pressure and medium scope. High temperature and pressure conditions must adopt boiler-grade alloy steel pipe. Chloride environment shall select 316L and above corrosion-resistant materials.
7.2 Installation Construction Requirements
Use sawing or lathe cutting instead of flame cutting. Match special welding electrode for alloy steel pipe. Preheat before welding and stress relief treatment after welding. Reserve thermal expansion gap for high-temperature pipelines to avoid stress concentration and cracking.
7.3 Operation & Maintenance
Heat up and boost pressure slowly during commissioning, avoid sudden cooling and heating. Regularly inspect pressure, temperature and pipeline leakage. Empty internal medium and do anti-rust treatment for long-term shutdown. Prohibit over-pressure and over-temperature operation.
8. Transportation, Loading & Storage
Use special lifting tools, prohibit throwing, collision and dragging. Pad buffer materials during transportation and cover rainproof cloth outdoors. Store in dry and ventilated warehouse, keep away from acid and corrosive substances. Equip plastic end caps for pipe ports, apply anti-rust oil on surface. Stack by material and specification with limited stacking height.
9. Safety Warning
Prohibit use in non-design scenarios such as domestic water and civil gas. Operators must hold valid certificates. Replace damaged, deformed and severely corroded pipes immediately. Recycle waste pipes according to industrial metal regulations.
