I. Product Definition
Color coated steel coil (also known as pre-painted steel coil, colored coated steel sheet coil) is a metal composite material made by taking hot-dip galvanized sheet, hot-dip aluminized zinc sheet, electro-galvanized sheet, galvanized aluminum-magnesium sheet and other materials as the base plate, performing surface pretreatment (chemical degreasing, cleaning, conversion film treatment), applying one or more layers of organic coatings by continuous roll coating process, and then curing by high-temperature baking. It combines the strength of steel with the anti-corrosion and decorative properties of coatings, and can be directly processed and used.
II. Product Structure (Five-Layer Protection)
Base Plate: The core supporting layer, which determines the mechanical strength and basic corrosion resistance;
Chemical Conversion Layer: The "bridge" between the base plate and the coating, which improves adhesion and enhances rust resistance;
Primer Layer: Enhances anti-corrosion and ensures interlayer stability, usually epoxy/polyurethane primer is used;
Topcoat Layer: The core of appearance and weather resistance, which determines the color, gloss and aging resistance;
Backcoat Layer: Protects the back from corrosion, adapting to the processing and service environment.

1. Polyester (PE)
Model: PE-01 (Regular), PE-02 (High Adhesion)
Composition: Saturated polyester resin, rich in colors and strong adhesion;
Performance: Weather resistance for 7-10 years, low cost and easy processing;
Application: General buildings, indoor, general industrial environment.
2. Silicon-Modified Polyester (SMP)
Model: SMP-01 (Standard), SMP-02 (Heat-Resistant)
Composition: Polyester + silicon modification, heat resistance and powdering resistance;
Performance: Weather resistance for 10-12 years, UV resistance and good color retention;
Application: Factories, warehouses, moderately polluted outdoor environment.
3. High Durability Polyester (HDP)

Composition: Special polyester, significantly improved weather resistance;
Performance: Weather resistance for more than 15 years, anti-aging and anti-fading;

V. Production Process
Pretreatment: Base plate degreasing → water washing → chemical conversion (chromating/non-chromium passivation) → drying, removing oil stains and rust, improving coating adhesion;
Roll Coating: 2/1 (2 layers on top, 1 layer on bottom, sandwich panel), 2/2 (2 layers on top and bottom, single panel), 2/1M (2 layers on top and bottom, one-time baking), coating thickness accuracy of ±1μm;
Baking Curing: Topcoat is cross-linked at 200-240℃, backcoat at 180-200℃ to form a dense protective film;
Post-Treatment: Cooling → embossing/printing/film coating → winding → packaging and warehousing.

Thickness: 0.3mm-1.5mm (Common specifications: 0.4mm, 0.5mm, 0.6mm, 0.8mm, 1.0mm);
Width: Regular 1000mm, 1200mm, 1250mm, customizable any width from 800mm to 1500mm;
Length: Regular length per coil is 20m-50m (adjusted according to thickness, the thinner the thickness, the longer the length), customizable any length (subject to production process requirements);
Coil Weight: Regular 2-5 tons/coil, customizable specifications can be adjusted (maximum not exceeding 8 tons/coil).
