Fiberglass dust collection bags
Fiberglass dust collection bagsare ideal high-temperature resistant filtration materials and have been widely used in sectors such as cement, metallurgy, smelting, chemical industry, carbon black, and environmental protection. However, the urgent problem to be solved in the cement industry is the dew condensation problem of low-temperature cement bag filters. Fiberglass bags for low-temperature dusty gas in the cement industry have solved the technical problem of dust collection by filter bags under low-temperature conditions. This kind of filter material is an ideal filter medium. Fiberglass bags can effectively solve the dew condensation problem of low-temperature cement bag filters with relatively low temperature and high humidity. Fiberglass bags have now started to be used for dust collection at dust points such as cement mills, raw material mills, coal mills, and silos, achieving satisfactory results.

1. Excellent heat resistance. The glass fiber filter material treated by surface science can be used at a temperature of up to280℃, which is very suitable for dust removal projects. Therefore, currently and for some time to come, glass fiber filter materials will still be an important high-temperature filtration material.
2. High strength and low elongation. Its tensile strength is higher than that of various other natural and synthetic fibers, and the elongation rate is only2%-3%. This characteristic is sufficient to ensure that the filter bags with a large length-to-diameter ratio designed and manufactured have sufficient tensile strength and dimensional stability.
3. Excellent corrosion resistance. At present, the commonly used glass fibers produced in China are divided into two types: alkali-free and medium-alkali. Alkali-free glass has a high degree of stability to water, moist air, and weak alkali solutions at room temperature, but it is not resistant to erosion by acids and alkalis of relatively high concentrations. Medium-alkali fibers have better water and acid resistance. Therefore, different glass fibers with different compositions must be selected as filter materials according to the properties of the medium to achieve better results.
4. The surface of the glass fiber dust filter bag is smooth, with low filtration resistance, which is conducive to dust peeling. It is non-combustible and non-deformable.
5. Glass fiber dust filter bags are brittle, not resistant to folding or abrasion, and will deform to a certain extent after being pulled. Glass fiber fabrics without surface chemical modification treatment cannot meet the requirements for high-temperature filter materials. Therefore, their performance depends to a large extent on the surface treatment process, formula, and fabric structure.
Glass fiber needle-punched felt can be used for sound insulation, sound absorption, shock absorption, and flame retardancy in the automotive industry, and is mainly used in the filtration field in industry. Glass fiber needle-punched felt is widely used in the flue gas purification and dust recovery of industries such as carbon black, steel, non-ferrous metals, chemicals, and incineration.
