Thermoprobe TL3-W, sold by Xiamen Jielian Instrument & Equipment Technology Co., Ltd., is an intrinsically safe portable stick-type thermometer.
Product Overview
The TL3-W is the latest full-featured version of the ThermoProbe industry-standard TL series and is certified to the latest global standards for hazardous locations (Ex). It is a weather-resistant upgrade of the TL3-A, powered by two AAA batteries, offering excellent battery life. This thermometer features a large display and an easy-to-hold design, making it convenient for use in laboratories or on-site. The sturdy plastic alloy housing and buttons are well-suited for industrial applications and can be operated even while wearing gloves.
Technical Specifications
Measurement Range: -40°F to 400°F (-40°C to 204°C).
Accuracy: ±0.1°F from 14 to 320°F, ±0.06°C from -10 to 160°C.
Resolution: 0.01 degrees.
Temperature Response Time: 6 seconds in a circulating water bath (63.2% response time for a temperature step change).
Sensor: Stainless steel RTD temperature sensor, 100Ω shock-resistant thin-film platinum RTD. Standard lengths are 8 inches (20 cm) or 12 inches (30 cm), with a diameter of 0.25 inches (6.35 mm) and a tip diameter reduced to 0.188 inches (4.76 mm). The recommended minimum immersion depth is 3 inches (7.6 cm).
Display: 0.5-inch (12.7 mm) character LCD with trend indicator arrows, low battery and fault indicators.
Automatic Shutdown: Automatically shuts down after 20 minutes of inactivity.
Storage Function: Automatically stores the minimum, and average temperatures.
Battery: Two AAA alkaline batteries, with a service life of over 450 hours at 70°F (21°C).
Application Areas
Suitable for distillation, temperature baths, melting point tests, flash point tests, references, heat wells, calibration of flow meters, etc. It also complies with ASTM D8164 "Standard Guide for Digital Contact Thermometers for Testing Petroleum Products, Liquid Fuels, and Lubricants".
