Material and structure of the cable probe
Cable sheath material: The probe cable sheaths of models such as TP9-A and TP7-D (compatible with old models TP2-C, TP5-C, TP7, TP7-C, TP8, TP9) are made of PFA or FEP materials. These materials have good chemical resistance and high-temperature resistance, and can adapt to a variety of complex environments.
Probe body material: The probe is usually made of 304 stainless steel, which has high strength and corrosion resistance. In addition, the probe may also be reinforced with sealant and aramid fiber to improve its durability and tensile performance.
Cable structure: The cable adopts a coaxial cable structure, which helps to reduce signal interference and ensure the stable transmission of measurement signals.
Specifications and configurations of the cable probe
Cable length: There are various options for cable length, such as 12 feet, 25 feet, 50 feet, 75 feet, 100 feet, 10 meters, 25 meters, 30 meters, 35 meters. Users can choose the appropriate cable length according to the actual application scenario.
Probe weight configuration: Depending on the usage environment and the object to be measured, there are various weight configurations for the probe. For example, the standard weight is 0.25 pounds (0.11 kilograms), the overweight design is 0.50 pounds (0.23 kilograms), the railcar probe is suitable for the railcar industry, and the asphalt probe weighs 0.75 pounds (0.34 kilograms), which is suitable for high-viscosity petrochemical products.
Technical parameters of the cable probe
Temperature range: The temperature range of TP9-A and TP7-D is from -40°F to 400°F (-40°C to 204°C).
Calibration accuracy: ±0.2°F from 32 to 200°F, ±0.5°F from 200 to 400°F; ±0.1°C from 0 to 100°C, ±0.3°C from 100 to 200°C.
Long-term drift: No more than 0.05% per year.
