Product Features
Obvious color change: The Universal Tank Gauge Paste is a green paste that turns bright red when it comes into contact with water.
Fast reaction speed: It changes color within about 10 seconds after contact with water.
Wide application range: It is suitable for detecting the water phase in organic liquid storage tanks such as gasoline, gasoline/alcohol (ethanol) mixtures, jet fuel, diesel, residual fuel, and crude oil.
High measurement accuracy: It can accurately detect the water level at the bottom of storage and transportation tanks even when the water contains fuel system icing inhibitor (FSII) mixed with turbine aviation fuel.
Usage Method
Apply a thin layer of the green paste on the plumb bob, covering a few centimeters.
Insert the plumb bob into the storage tank for about 10 seconds.
Observe whether the green paste turns bright red after contact with water.
After removing the measuring rod from the storage tank, determine the water level according to the height of the reddened paste.
Packaging Specification
The green paste is packed in a 1.76-ounce/50-gram tube.
Storage Conditions
The storage temperature is 2°C~45°C.
