The IS420YVIBS1B (ISx2yYVIBS1B, x=4, y=0/1) is a safety-grade vibration input module from the GE Mark VIeS series, meeting IEC 61508 SIL 3 safety requirements. It is used for safety monitoring of shaft vibration, shaft displacement, key phase/speed in turbine machinery, and is compatible with overspeed protection and vibration over-limit interlocking scenarios in SIS systems. It features a TMR redundancy architecture and hazardous area certification.
