General Electric ISx2yYDIAS1B Safe discrete output module
The IS220YDIAS1B/IS420YDIAS1B (ISx2yYDIAS1B, x=2/4, y=0/1) is a safety-grade discrete input I/O module from the GE Mark VIeS series. Meeting IEC 61508 SIL 3 safety requirements, it is used for the safe acquisition of discrete signals in SIS systems. It features a redundant architecture, fail-safe design, and hazardous area certification, making it suitable for emergency shutdown/safety interlock scenarios in turbine and process industries.

Signal Acquisition Capabilities
Channel Configuration: 16-channel safety discrete input (dry contact/wet contact, 24VDC), electrical isolation between channels, and no single-channel fault propagation.
Signal Processing: Input response time ≤6ms, supports contact jitter filtering, and is suitable for rapid acquisition of safety interlock signals.
Diagnostics: Channel-level open/short circuit monitoring, LED indicators for module/channel status, ControlST remote diagnostics, and rapid fault location.
