Woodward 8200-226 Digital servo position controller
High-precision servo control: It is a field-programmable servo drive capable of precisely controlling the stroke of proportional or integral servo valves.
Signal reception and processing:
Command input: Supports receiving position commands via DeviceNet network communication or standard 4–20 mA analog signals.
Feedback support: Can receive 1 to 2 (redundant) AC feedback signals (such as LVDT, RVDT differential transformers) or 1 DC feedback signal for real-time sensing of the valve's actual position.
Redundancy and safety protection: Features redundant feedback switching; when one feedback signal fails, it automatically switches to a healthy signal. It also includes built-in alarm mechanisms for communication timeout, analog input exceeding limits, and feedback disconnection.
Digital commissioning: Supports configuration, automatic calibration, parameter monitoring, and manual testing via Windows-based software (PC Service Tool).
