Due to its high reliability and response accuracy, the XU1-E is widely used in the following fields:
Generator Protection:
Monitors generator output voltage. If the automatic voltage regulator (AVR) fails, causing excessively high or low voltage, the relay will immediately trip to prevent damage to downstream loads or generator windings.
Transformers and Substations:
Used in substations to monitor bus voltage and ensure power quality meets standards.
Motor Protection:
Prevents motors from starting under undervoltage conditions (which would cause a surge in current and severe overheating) or operating under overvoltage conditions (which would break down insulation).
Automatic Power Switching System (ATS):
As a logic element, it triggers a signal to switch to backup power or start the generator when the main power supply voltage is unstable.
