Scraper conveyors are used for automatic conveying, distribution, and connecting conveying in the post-packaging process of mine stones, cobblestones, iron ores, coal, lump coal, quartz stones, castings, forgings, chemical plants, large iron blocks, concrete blocks, foundries, cement clinkers, and are widely used in the transportation of ore sand, casting, garbage, steel, express delivery, food, canned goods, beverages, cosmetics and washing products, paper products, seasonings, dairy products, and grass.
Advantages of scraper conveyors:
1. Using plate chains as traction elements, they not only have high strength, high efficiency, and reliable operation, but also can be used for long-distance transportation (currently, the transportation length has reached 1000 meters), with large conveying capacity. The conveying capacity of some skirted conveyors can reach over 1000t per hour.
2. Various structural accessories can be installed on the traction chain to meet different conveying requirements for different materials and realize various continuous process operations. After being equipped with a transfer device, the conveyor line can be flexibly arranged, which is a performance that other types of conveyors cannot match.
3. Compared with belt conveyors, supported conveyors can transport materials under conditions of larger inclination angles and smaller bending radii. The inclination angle of plate conveyors can reach 30° - 35°, and the bending radius is generally about 3m - 5m.
4. They can transport materials at relatively high temperatures (600° - 700°). They can also adapt to harsher working conditions, such as heavy logs, ores with sharp edges, and harmful chemicals.
