PFA sampling tubes/sampling cups have become the ideal choice to replace glass and PP materials in isotope testing due to their ultra-high purity, chemical inertness, and compatibility, which can significantly improve data reliability and experimental efficiency.
Material and performance of PFA sampling tubes (sampling cups)
1. Made of high-purity perfluoroalkoxy resin PFA material, with low metal ion precipitation and background, avoiding sample contamination and ensuring the accuracy of isotope test data.
2. Strong corrosion resistance: Resistant to strong acids (such as hydrofluoric acid, aqua regia), strong alkalis, and organic solvents.
3. Wide operating temperature range (-200°C to +250°C)
4. Ultra-low adsorption: PFA material can reduce sample adsorption loss and is suitable for the analysis of trace/ultra-trace samples.
5. Anti-cross-contamination: PFA is semi-transparent and visible, which is convenient for observing samples. The tube wall is smooth and easy to clean, avoiding residues.
Applications of PFA sampling tubes (sampling cups)
1. Isotope analysis: Compatible with auto-samplers such as ICP-MS and LC-MS, used for the determination of isotope ratios in geological, environmental, and biological samples (such as δ¹³C, δ¹⁸O, uranium-lead dating, etc.).
2. Trace element detection: Suitable for the transfer and storage of ultra-pure samples (such as semiconductors and high-purity chemicals) to avoid introducing impurities.
