PFA Distillation Reaction Device (Special Reaction Device for Hydrogen Fluoride/Fluorides)

This device is specially used for distillation, purification, reflux, and chemical reaction experiments of hydrogen fluoride (HF), fluorides (such as ammonium fluoride, sodium fluoride, etc.), and other strongly corrosive media.

For example:

1. Purification of high-purity hydrogen fluoride to remove impurities such as metal ions and moisture.

2. Concentration and recovery of fluoride solutions: such as the treatment of semiconductor etching waste liquid.

3. Synthetic reactions of fluorine-containing compounds: such as the preparation of fluorinated organic compounds.

4. Distillation of corrosive media in ultra-clean laboratories or industrial production.


Features of PFA Distillation Reaction Device

1. Super strong corrosion resistance: It can withstand strong corrosive media such as hydrofluoric acid (HF), fluorine gas (F₂), ammonium fluoride (NH₄F), aqua regia, and concentrated sulfuric acid for a long time without dissolution and pollution.

2. Compared with glass or metal reaction kettles, it can avoid "silicon pollution" and "metal ion pollution", and is suitable for high-purity experiments.

3. High temperature resistance and strong thermal stability: Under normal pressure, it can withstand -196℃ ~ +250℃, meeting the needs of high-temperature distillation. Low thermal conductivity reduces heat loss, saving energy and being efficient.

4. The PFA material is transparent and visible: It is convenient to observe the "state of the reaction liquid, boiling phenomenon, and distillation progress" to avoid accidental bumping or dry burning.

5. Standardized structure, can be matched with a variety of conventional devices:

Such as standard interfaces (such as 24/29 ports, flange or threaded connections), it can be flexibly matched with "PFA condensers, fractionating columns, tail gas absorption devices (for the treatment of toxic gases such as HF), and vacuum systems (for vacuum distillation)".

6. Safety protection: Normal pressure design to avoid high-pressure risks (note the high toxicity and volatility of HF, and it is recommended to operate in a fume hood). Explosion-proof membranes or pressure relief valves can be optionally configured to deal with sudden pressure increases.





Application Industries of PFA Distillation Reaction Device

1. Semiconductor: Recovery of wafer etching waste liquid (HF/HNO₃ mixed solution), preparation of high-purity electronic-grade chemicals.

2. Nuclear industry: Purification of uranium fluorides (UF₆), post-treatment of nuclear fuels.

3. Pharmaceutical: Synthesis of fluorine-containing pharmaceutical intermediates (such as fluorobenzene compounds).

4. New energy: Research and development and purification of lithium battery electrolyte (LiPF₆).

5. Scientific research institutions: Basic research on fluorine chemistry, experiments on superacids (such as magic acid).

6. Fluorine chemical industry: Distillation, purification, and collection of hydrogen fluoride.


Precautions

1. It is strictly forbidden to use for high-pressure reactions: The mechanical strength of PFA decreases at high temperatures, and normal pressure or slight negative pressure must be strictly maintained.

2. Extra caution is required when operating with HF: Special protective equipment for HF (such as fluororubber gloves and gas masks) and emergency flushing facilities must be provided.

3. Cleaning and maintenance: After using the device, it should be flushed with deionized water or dilute nitric acid to avoid corrosion of the equipment by fluoride residues.
