PFA Gas Washing Bottles (Absorption Bottles/Reaction Bottles/Buffer Bottles) are commonly used in high-purity chemical experiments, semiconductor processes, wet etching, trace analysis and other fields.
Functional uses: Mainly used for purifying and drying gases, removing impurities such as moisture, grease and particulate matter in the gas through liquid absorption, dissolution or chemical reactions.
Structural design: Usually there are two conduits, one long and one short. The long conduit is for gas input and the short one is for gas output. The liquid in the bottle is not filled to the brim, leaving a space for the gas to fully contact and react with the liquid.
New function upgrade: The joint and the cap are integrally molded, with better sealing performance.
1. PFA Gas Washing Bottle (Gas Washing Bottle)
Used for gas purification to remove impurities (such as acid gases, organic vapors, dust, etc.).
Commonly seen in laboratory gas pretreatment and tail gas absorption (such as HCl, NH₃, SO₂, etc.).
Features: a. Equipped with a PTFE porous dispersion head. The gas forms tiny bubbles through the bubbling ball, increasing the gas-liquid contact area and improving the absorption efficiency. b. Good sealing performance to prevent gas leakage or external pollution. c. The bottle body is transparent and visible, and can be graduated for easy observation of the liquid volume and reaction status.
Application cases: Absorb CO₂ with NaOH solution and dry Cl₂ with concentrated sulfuric acid.
2. PFA Reaction Bottle (Reaction Bottle)
Commonly used for chemical reactions in high-temperature/strong acid and alkali environments (such as HF acid treatment and semiconductor etching).
Features: 1. Corrosion resistance: Can withstand aqua regia, hydrofluoric acid, concentrated sulfuric acid, etc. 2. Low adsorption: Avoids the adsorption of trace elements by the vessel wall, suitable for ultra-pure experiments. 3. Can be connected to a condenser tube, etc.
3. PFA Buffer Bottle (Buffer Bottle/Intermediate Bottle)
Connected in the gas flow pipeline to prevent liquid backflow.
Serves as an intermediate container for gas-liquid separation.
Design features: Can be customized with double-neck, three-neck or multi-neck designs for easy multi-pipeline connection.
4. PFA Absorption Bottle (Absorption Bottle)
Quantitatively absorbs specific components in the gas (such as absorbing H₂S with iodine solution and absorbing water vapor with silica gel).
Environmental monitoring (exhaust gas analysis, air sampling).
Features: Often paired with a porous bubbling ball or designed with a spiral gas flow path for efficient absorption. Can be equipped with accessories such as a flow meter and a temperature probe.
Selection suggestions: Small-capacity (50-250mL) is suitable for micro-experiments, and large-capacity (1-5L) is suitable for industrial-grade gas treatment. configuration: Whether anti-suck-back valves, porous filter cartridges, condensation reflux devices, etc. are required.
