Performance characteristics of PTFE bottles
1. The PTFE material has a high tolerance for most strong acids, strong alkalis, strong oxidants and organic solvents. For example, the strong corrosion of concentrated sulfuric acid, the erosion of sodium hydroxide and the violent attack of aqua regia cannot leave obvious traces on it. This characteristic ensures that the reagent bottles can safely store various chemically active and highly corrosive chemical reagents, avoiding the deterioration or leakage of reagents caused by the reaction between the reagents and the containers, and ensuring the purity and stability of the reagents.
2. The PTFE material has high and low-temperature resistance: it can maintain stable physical and chemical properties from the low-temperature liquid nitrogen environment to the high-temperature oven. (PTFE can be used at - 200℃~ + 250℃.) This provides a reliable container option for reagents that need to be stored or used under special temperature conditions, expanding the application scope.
3. PTFE has the characteristics of non-stickiness and low friction coefficient: reagents are not easy to adhere to the bottle wall, and the dosage can be more accurately controlled when taking reagents, reducing reagent waste and residue. At the same time, the smooth inner wall is easy to clean, effectively preventing cross-contamination between different reagents.
4. PTFE has a low background value: the content of metal elements such as lead and uranium is less than 0.01ppb, and it has good anti-pollution performance, making it suitable for experiments with high purity requirements such as trace analysis.
