In the field of mold carving replication, RTV2 liquid silicone rubber is a commonly used material. Due to its excellent replication performance and ease of operation, it is suitable for various replication scenarios ranging from fine small carvings to large sculptures. Core advantage
Precise replication without deviation: As a two-component liquid silicone rubber, it has excellent fluidity and can easily penetrate the fine textures, corners, and complex structures of the carved prototype. The linear shrinkage rate is usually ≤ 0.3%, and after curing, it can precisely restore the carved details, such as the texture of relief and the patterns of small carvings, and can completely replicate them without any deformation or loss of details.
High durability and reusable: After curing, it has high tensile and tear resistance properties, and can withstand a temperature range of -50°C to 300°C. It is also resistant to acids and alkalis, and anti-aging. This stability enables the molds made from it to be used for multiple moldings, suitable for various materials such as gypsum, resin, and PU for pouring and replication, significantly reducing the cost of batch carving replication.
Easy operation and low threshold: No need for professional high-temperature or press equipment. It can be cured at room temperature. The operation time and curing time are controllable. After adding 2% - 5% of curing agent, there is about 30 minutes of operation time, and it can be fully cured in 4 - 8 hours. After standing for 24 hours, the performance is more stable. Even beginners can quickly master it.
