I. Product Overview


Rockwell Automation 1794-ASB is an important communication module in the FlexLogix series. Its main function is to realize the connection between the Flex I/O system and the EtherNet/IP network, acting as a data transmission bridge between the two. As an EtherNet/IP adapter, it can efficiently transmit the on-site data collected by Flex I/O modules to the upper-level control system (such as Logix series controllers), and at the same time receive instructions from the control system and issue them to Flex I/O modules, realizing remote monitoring and control of industrial on-site equipment. The module adopts a modular design, has strong compatibility with various I/O modules of the Flex I/O series, and features flexible installation methods.   • Efficient EtherNet/IP Communication: The 1794-ASB module builds a communication link based on the EtherNet/IP protocol, which can realize high-speed data exchange between the Flex I/O system and the upper-level control system.
