WOODWARD 5501-381 is a high-performance controller suitable for controlling large industrial engines and gas turbines. It is widely used in the control systems of large power equipment in industries such as electric power, petrochemicals, and shipping.


Its design aims to provide high-precision and high-reliability control for large power equipment. By accurately regulating core parameters such as fuel supply, air intake, and ignition timing, it ensures that the equipment can operate efficiently and stably under complex working conditions such as full load and variable load, while minimizing energy consumption and emissions. Whether in large generator sets, industrial drive devices, or ship main propulsion systems, this controller provides a solid guarantee for the safe and stable operation of equipment with its excellent performance, and is a key component in the field of large power equipment control.


II. Technical Parameters

  • Power Supply Parameters: It adopts 24V DC power supply, with an operating voltage range of 19-32V DC, which can adapt to fluctuations in the power supply voltage in industrial sites and ensure the stable operation of the controller. The rated power consumption is about 15W. While meeting the needs of high-performance control, it effectively controls energy consumption, reduces its own heat generation, and extends the service life of the equipment.


  • Control Input and Output: It is equipped with 6 analog input channels, which can receive signals such as 4-20mA and 0-10V, and are used to collect data from various sensors such as engine speed, temperature, pressure, and flow; it has 4 analog output channels with an output range of 4-20mA, which are used to precisely control various actuators.
