German technical background VOK®-3820 inorganic UV absorber for waterborne system
VOK®-3820 is a dispersion of nano-zinc oxide in water, which improves the UV resistance of waterborne coating films and binders. Compared with standard organic UV absorbents, inorganic absorbents based on zinc oxide have good stability. VOK®-3820 is particularly suitable for transparent wood and furniture coatings, as well as pigmented systems and architectural coatings.
