German technical background VOK®-3840 inorganic UV absorber for aqueous system
VOK®-3840 is a dispersion of nano-zinc oxide in water, which improves the UV resistance of waterborne coating films and binders. Compared with standard organic UV absorbents, inorganic absorbents based on zinc oxide have good stability. VOK®-3840 is particularly suitable for transparent building, wood and furniture coatings, as well as for pigmented paint systems.
