VOK®-AP 250 wax dispersion, based on PE (polyethylene), is used in solventborne coatings to improve scratch resistance, has a matte and soft touch and improves sedimentation.

Storage and transportation 

The product is temperature sensitive. Store and transport below 35°C, stirring well before use.

Features and benefits 

The additive is suitable for solventborne coatings, especially industrial coatings and wood coatings. It improves scratch resistance and a soft-touch effect, has a matte effect, improves the orientation of pyrogenic silica and prevents settling. 

Recommended dosage 

2-5 % additive (purchased form) based on total coating formulation. 

The above recommended addition amount is for reference, and the suitable addition amount needs to be determined by a series of tests. 

Incorporation method and processing guidance 

It is best to add at a low shear rate at the end of production. The product should be mixed well before use.
