German technical background VOK®-AP 920 wax auxiliary
VOK®-AP 920 micronized organic polymer for matting effects in solventborne, aqueous systems and printing inks. In UV-curable powder coating systems, surface hardness can be improved and matting properties can be achieved.

Recommended dosage
0.5-10 % additive dosage (purchased form) is based on the total formulation and depends on the desired gloss.
The above recommended addition amount is for reference, and the suitable addition amount needs to be determined by a series of tests.
Addition method and processing
It is instructed that the additive should be added at a terminal, moderate shear rate at the end of production. Powder coating product characteristics and benefits This additive is recommended for matting UV powder coatings, while also improving their surface hardness and thus increasing surface protection.
Recommended use
VOK®-AP 920 is recommended for all UV-curable powder coatings. In combination with VOK®-AP 950, it enhances matting effect.
Recommended dosage
The dosage of 2-8 % additive (purchased form) is based on the total formulation and depends on the desired gloss.
The above recommended addition amount is for reference, and the suitable addition amount needs to be determined by a series of tests.
Addition method and processing
It is instructed that the additive should be mixed with all components such as resin, curing agent, pigment and other additives at high speed stirring using a high-speed dispersing machine, and then all extruded and discharged.
