VOK®-AP 968 Micronized PTFE modified polyethylene wax is used to produce fine texture effect on the surface of powder coating, scratch resistance, mercerization effect.

Product features and benefits 

The additive creates a highly reproducible fine texture, matting and scratch-resistant surface in all commonly used powder coating systems. Even if the coating thickness changes, the texture remains uniform. 

Recommended dosage 

0.5-2% additive dosage (purchased form) is based on total formulation. 

The above recommended addition amount is for reference, and the suitable addition amount needs to be determined by a series of tests. 

Incorporation method and processing guidance 

The additive should be mixed with all components such as resins, curing agents, pigments and other additives using a high-speed dispersing machine, and then all extruded and discharged.
