Product features and advantages

VOK ®- Disper 171 enables pigment to deflocculate through steric stabilization. Because the particle size of the deflocculating pigment is small, it can improve the color strength. In addition, the pigment content can be increased due to the reduction of viscosity. VOK ®- DF 171 can prevent floating color from blooming even when it is used in complex pigment/paste combinations or difficult to adjust colors.

Recommended use

It is especially recommended to use the pigment concentrate slurry used in the production of gel coat; It is also recommended to stabilize pigment in gel coat.

Recommended dosage

Additive dosage (purchase form) is based on pigment:

Inorganic pigment: 10-18%

Titanium dioxide: 4-6%

Organic pigment: 35-60%

Carbon black: 70-120%

The above recommended dosage is for reference, and the appropriate dosage shall be determined through a series of tests.

Adding method and processing guidance

For good performance, VOK ®- Disper 171 should be added to the resin slowly in the agitated state. Pigments can only be added after the auxiliaries are uniformly dispersed. Then the dispersion process can begin, and finally more resins can be added if necessary.
