German technical background VOK ®- Disper 183 Wetting Dispersant
Wetting and dispersing aids for water-based, solvent based and solvent-free coatings and binary alcohol based universal color pastes. It prevents the pigment from flocculating, thus stabilizing the color phase and coloring force of the pigment slurry, reducing the floating color and blooming in the pigment mixture, increasing the storage stability of the system, improving the wetting and luster of the pigment, and reducing the viscosity of the abrasive.
VOK ®- Disper 183 is particularly suitable for the production of universal color paste without alkyl phenyl phenol ethoxy compound, which can be used in water-based latex paint and solvent based building paint.
Chemical composition: high molecular weight block copolymer solution with pigment affinity group
Solvent: dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether/tripropylene glycol monomethyl ether 2/5
Auxiliary dosage: 10-15% inorganic pigment
15-30% organic pigment
3-5% titanium dioxide
60-80% carbon black
Typical physicochemical data: amine value: 17 mg KOH/g
Non volatile matter: 52%
