Product features and benefits

VOK®-R 606 is a thixotropic synergist for polyurethane, epoxy and acrylate resins that exhibits thixotropy through the use of pyrogenic silica or layered silicates (organoclays). Enhancing the hydrogen bonds of silica and layered silicates to increase thixotropy can also obtain sufficiently high sagging resistance and improve leveling and deaeration.

Recommended dosage

5-15% additive dosage (purchased form) based dry fumed silica or organic layered silicate (organoclay).

The above recommended dosage is for reference, and the appropriate dosage needs to be determined through a series of tests.

Addition method and processing guidance

Under continuous stirring conditions, the additive should be added to the resin before silica/layered silicate is added. This additive can also be added later.
