German technical background VOK®-601 wax dispersion
Wax dispersions that increase the smoothness, scratch resistance and leveling of can and coil coating systems.
VOK®-AP 601 is used in solventborne coil coatings and solventborne and waterborne can coatings.
VOK®-AP 601 improves the following surface properties:
scratch resistance;
Smooth;
leveling;
Due to the easy incorporation of VOK®-AP 601, the product can be dispersed into the coating at a later time.
Chemical composition: Carnauba wax
Solvent: Dowanol DPM
Dosage: 1,5-2 %
Typical physical and chemical data: Non-volatile: 20 %
Melting point (wax): 85°c
