VOK®-AP 79 Carnauba wax-based wax dispersion for solventborne can coatings. Increases scratch resistance and surface slip.

Carrier: Dipropylene glycol methyl ether

Viscosity (23 °C, D=400/s): 80 mPa·s 


Storage and transportation 

Temperature sensitive. Must be stored and transported at temperatures below 35 °C. Stir well before use.

This additive improves scratch resistance and surface slip of solventborne can coatings. 

Recommended dosage 

1.5-2% Additive dosage (purchased form) is based on total formulation. 

The above recommended dosage is for reference, and the appropriate dosage needs to be determined through a series of tests. 

Addition method and processing guidance 

This additive is best added to the coating at the end of production at a low shear rate. Stir well before use.
