I. Product parameters:

Two, instructions:

1. Natural moisture content soil samples or air-dried (oven-dried) soil samples should be used for particle analysis test by densitometer method.

2. For air-dried (oven-dried) soil samples, take 100-300g representative soil samples, put them into a mortar and grind them with a pestle with a rubber head, pass the ground soil through a 2mm sieve, grind the soil on the sieve and then filter it until only particles larger than 2mm are left on the sieve.

3. The soil samples with particle size less than 2mm were mixed evenly, and the soil samples with grain quality were taken as the samples. When the soil samples with natural moisture content were used as the experiments, the required wet soil mass was calculated according to the following equation.

6. The agitator was used to stir up and down the whole suspension depth in the measuring cylinder for about 1min, reciprocating 30 times each, so that the soil particles in the suspension were evenly distributed.

7. Take out the agitator, start the stopwatch at the same time, and measure the densitometer reading at 1, 2, 5, 15, 30, 60, 120 and 1440min. The densitometer of type B is denoted as, and the density of type A is denoted as. Put the densitometer into the measuring cylinder about 15 seconds before each measurement, and take it out immediately after reading. When reading, pay attention to the floating bubble shall not be close to the wall of the measuring cylinder, and the reading is the reading of climbing to the highest point of bending liquid surface. Type A hydrometer estimated degree to 0.1, type B hydrometer estimated degree to 0.0001, after reading the suspension temperature measurement, accurate to 0.5℃

8. If it is found that at the first reading, the soil in the measuring cylinder has exceeded 15% of the total soil mass, the soil in the measuring cylinder will be washed and screened with a 0.075mm analysis screen, and then the particle size analysis test of coarse particles larger than 0.075mm will be carried out according to the sieve analysis method.
