1.Product
PC-5GF distributed PV environmental monitoring is an environmental monitoring instrument with a metal explosion-proof housing. It is designed for easy installation, high measurement accuracy, and stable performance. It integrates multiple meteorological parameters into a single device.
PC-5GF could measure a wide range of environmental parameters, such as environmental temperature, environmental humidity, wind speed, wind direction, atmospheric pressure, rainfall, solar radiation (horizontal/slope),and solar panel backplane temperature.
PC-5GF is suitable for applications in solar photovoltaic power generation, solar resource assessment, meteorological and ecological environmental monitoring, environmental protection and agriculture, construction, scientific research and education, and other fields.
2.Options
1)Free Software platform for data management.
2)Download data through RS232 communication interface or through the software platform.
3)Multiple communication options are available. Support standard RS232/485/USB communication, compatible with the standard MODBUS communication protocol. It can also achieve remote wireless data communication through various methods such as GPRS, RJ45, and wireless transmission.
4)Multiple network-based base station deployment modes: Local Area Network (LAN), GSM/GPRS/CDMA, USB.
5)Multiple power supply options: AC & DC power sources, solar panels, automotive power supply.
6)Various sizes of outdoor observation brackets are available for selection, ranging from 2 to 10 meters.
7)Could increase the height of the ultrasonic sensor probe to prevent it from being covered by rain, snow, sand, and other materials.
8) Outdoor fixed and portable brackets are available for selection.
9)Analog and digital outputs.

5.Feature
1)Enclosure IP67. Fully automated work in harsh conditions and in all climate zones.
2)Quick and easy installation. No tools required. Simply plug and play with the observation support. Ready for normal observation in less than 1 minute.
3)Compact size and lightweight. The data logger and sensors are designed in an integrated manner. The overall weight of the core component is less than 2 kilograms.
4)Ultrasonic wind measurement technology significantly reduces on-site maintenance compared to mechanical wind sensors.
5)Rainfall monitoring utilizes optical principles, ensuring a compact and maintenance-free design ideal for unmanned field applications.
6)To address extreme cold weather conditions and ensure reliable operation, the addition of a heating function to the probe is available. This feature prevents the probe from malfunctioning due to excessively low temperatures by monitoring the ambient temperature and providing necessary heating.
7)It can monitor two angles of solar radiation simultaneously. Both radiation meters can be adjusted to meet different observation requirements.
8)Software platform can run on Windows XP or later operating systems. It provides real-time display of various data and store data at a frequency of once per minute.
9)Measures three-dimensional wind direction and wind speed, as well as two-dimensional horizontal wind direction and wind speed.
10)PC-5GF undergoes complete calibration in a multifunctional wind tunnel before leaving the factory. This wind tunnel is capable of accurately calibrating various wind speeds, including gentle breezes below 1m/s and strong winds exceeding 30m/s.
