DBF model air friction disc brake is a small, flexible and easy operation brake, it is normal release. This is mini size brake, so its braking force is not high. Up and down friction pads clamped steel friction plate for stopping. Some pieces of this DBF brakes can be used together for braking, so as to increase braking power in several times.

For the air engagement DBF air caliper disc brake is a friction type brake, there are three models of it: DBF-8, DBF-10, DBF-15. They are suitable for clamping steel disk thickness is 8mm, 10mm and 15mm in separate. Although they are used for clamp different thickness of steel plate, while their braking torque is the same.

This brake with flexible structure, it is simple installation and easy operation. After fixed it on workplate, equiped with air source, it can be used. This is the structure and technical data of it for your reference:

From above technical data shown, this brake's braking force is varied as air pressure and braking disc's diameter. When the air pressure larger, DBF brake's stopping force is larger,too. And when steel disk's diameter bigger, its stopping force is higher, too. For example, when air pressure is 0.6Mpa, steel disk diameter is 500mm, DBF-8, DBF-10, DBF-15 braking force all 160N.m.

DBF flexible air caliper disc brake is made of carbon steel, it is strong and durable. It is normal releasing brake, when there is no air supply, brake is in released status; after supplying air pressure, this brake's up & down braking pads forward and clamp braking disc for stopping immediately. 

This small pneumatic caliper disc brake has three models: DBF-8, DBF-10, DBF-15. They are suitable for clamping steel plate thickness is 8mm, 10mm and 15mm in separately. The plate diameter is 220mm or larger, when the disk diameter is 260mm, air pressure is 0.6Mpa, they can produce braking torque is 80N.m. When disk diameter is 260mm, DBF-8, DBF-10, DBF-15 creat braking force is same 80N.m. That is to say, in the same air pressure, braking disc diameter larger, this DBF caliper disc brake will making larger braking force in relevantly. As usually, its braking steel plate's diameter is more than 220mm.

This caliper disc brake is widely applied in rotating platform, rubber tire machine, flexo machine, wire winch machine, wire and cable machine, packing machine, printing machine and etc. 

Above usage is the DBF applied on rotating platform. This platform rotating in a direction continous, when it needs to stop for testing or inspection, suppying air pressure to our DBF caliper disc brake, then two friction pads will clamp platform's steel plate for stopping. It is easy and convenient for usage. As to this platform braking force needed, it can matched some pieces of brakes accordingly.
