Left and right pneumatic caliper disc brake
DBH brake is horizontal mounted friction mode. It can be divided into left "L" and right "R" two types, that is the air inlet port from left and right are available, it depends on customer working situation needed. And it is normal releasing brake, in normal it is in released status.
As usually, DBH horizontal air applied disc brake braking force is twice of DBG vertical air caliper disc brake. And it is heavier than DBG clamper.
DBH pneumatic caliper disc brake is a horizontal installation brake. It is popular used in industrial application. It is air engaged friction type brake, after supplying air pressure, two friction pads clamped braking disc plate, making it stopped. After exhausting air pressure, springs make two friction pads come back, brake released, then braking disc plate rotating again.
Friction pads of horizontal caliper disc brake is non-asbestos material, it is durable and without much noise. Old type friction pads is with screw structure, like Niika. Our friction pads with bolt structure, it is more convenient for replacement. Loose the clamp bolts, taking out friction pads and changed to a new pair friction pads is enough. It is greatly save exchange time and easier than old design.

Braking disc thickness will not affect brake's torque, braking force varied as air pressure and braking disc diameter. Details you can refer to following technical data:
From the above table, we will know that when braking disc diameter larger, it produces braking force is larger, too. Take the braking disc diameter 350mm as example, DBH105 braking force is about 1600N.m, DBH204 braking force is also about 1600N.m. Then we can know that braking plate thickness no matter 10mm or 20mm, its produce braking force is the same, while braking plate diameter varied, the braking force is varied, too.
DBH horizontal caliper disc brake is widely applied in working machinery, construction machinery, steel rolling machinery, stretch-wire machinery, stranding machinery, winding machinery, gantry crane, paper making machinery, ship, trimming shears machinery, unwind machinery, orientation machinery, tension controller and etc.
DBH pneumatic caliper disc brake is used to clamp braking plate, non-asbestos material braking pads are abrasion resistance, will not produce dust and much noise. It is an economic air friction brake for industrial usage.
