DBH pneumatic horizontal friction brake can produce high braking force, it is usually matched with flange or pillow safety chuck in winding machine for braking. As usually, the brake is suitable for clamping 10mm and 20mm thickness braking disc, if your braking disc thickness is special, please tell us in advance, so we can make a special one to meet your requirement.

DBH brake is horizontal mounted friction mode. It can be divided into left "L" and right "R" two types, that is the air inlet port from left and right are available, it depends on customer working situation needed. And it is normal releasing brake, in normal it is in released status. In above it is DBH-105R (right) horizontal brake is used in paper winding machine, brake linked with foot mounted safety chuck for web material winding brake.

Horizontal caliper disc brake DBH braking force is nearly twice of DBG vertical caliper disc brake. Following is the technical data of DBH left and right friction brake:

From the above table, we will know that when braking disc diameter larger, it produces braking force is larger, too. Take the braking disc diameter 350mm as example, DBH105 braking force is about 1600N.m, DBH204 braking force is also about 1600N.m. Then we can know that braking plate thickness no matter 10mm or 20mm, its produce braking force is the same, while braking plate diameter varied, the braking force is varied, too.
