DBH383 rolling machine brake for horizontal installation

Horizontal caliper disc brake is extensive applied for rolling machine stopping. Except the regular type DBH103, DBH104, DBH105 and DBH203, DBH204, DBH205 braking disc thickness cover from 10mm to 20mm. There is another type for braking disc thickness 38mm, that is DBH383, DBH384, DBH385.

For the brake DBH383, DBH384, DBH385, their structure and function is the same with

DBH103, DBH104, DBH105; DBH203, DBH204, DBH205. The only difference is their braking steel disk thickness. Customers can choose a suitable type as their braking steel plate's outer circle thickness, steel plate's diameter and braking force needed. Compared with DBG vertical mounted caliper disc brake, DBH is a kind of horizontal mounted air friction caliper disc brake, its braking power is nearly twice of DBG brake. Air brake DBH383, DBH384, DBH385 are also has left "L" and right "R" two types. "L" means it moves the air power source to enter from left side, "R" means it moves the air power source t enter from right side.

DBH383, DBH384, DBH385 are suitable for braking steel disc thickness is 38mm. From above table we can understand that their braking force is the same with DBH10 and DBH20. Such as 350mm braking disc diameter, DBH383 braking force is 540N.m, the DBH104 and DBH204 braking force is also 540N.m. So we can acknowledge that braking steel disk thickness has nothing to do with braking force.
