Product introduction:
The plate-frame filter press is a very mature dewatering equipment, which has been widely used in European and American sludge dewatering projects.The filter press arranges the filter plate and the filter frame with the filtrate passage in parallel and alternately. Each group of filter plates and the filter frame is sandwiched with a press cloth. Press the filter plate and the filter frame with the pressing end to form a press filter chamber between the filter plate and the filter plate.Sludge enters from the feed inlet, water is discharged from the filtrate outlet through the filter plate, and mud cake is piled on the filter cloth in the frame. After the filter plate and the filter frame are loosened, mud cake is easy to peel off, which has the advantages of simple operation, high solids content of the filter cake and strong applicability.

The plate and frame filter press is suitable for the suspensions with high compressibility of the filter residue or nearly incompressible.The solid particle concentration of the suitable suspension is generally less than 10%, the operating pressure is generally 0.3 ~ 1.6 mpa, and the special suspension can reach 3 mpa or higher.The filter area can be increased or decreased with the number of frames used.The board frame is usually square, the inside side length of the filter frame is 200 ~ 2000 mm, the box thickness is 16 ~ 80 mm, the filter area is 1 ~ 1200㎡.The plate and frame are pressed by manual screw, electric screw and hydraulic etc.The boards and frames are made of wood, cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel, polypropylene and rubber.
The equipment weight and volume of the plate and frame filter press is large, and the sludge dehydrator of this type adopts the intermittent operation mode to produce 50kg/h solid, the productivity is relatively small, but the dehydration rate is high, the moisture content of the mud cake can reach 70%-85%, in addition, the equipment also needs special guard, the automaticity is poor;Many moving parts, unstable;Equipment investment slightly lower;High maintenance difficulty;The operation is relatively complex and requires special management;Short service life and other characteristics.
