Operating principle of belt press filter:
The belt press filter is divided into four stages. The first stage of the belt press filter is the pretreatment stage.The solid content of the original slurry is usually very low, so the slurry concentration must be increased by gravity sedimentation or other means to reduce the treatment cost.The commonly used pretreatment method is: the concentrated sludge is mixed with the polymer flocculant, the material in the flocculant action, the fine particles agglomerate into a group, and the preliminary precipitation, this is the sludge dehydration preparation conditions.
The second stage: gravity dehydration stage.The flocculation pretreatment sludge was added to the filter belt. Under the action of gravity, the free water outside the flocculation was filtered out through the filter belt, reducing the water content of the sludge.
The third stage: wedge pre - press dehydration stage.Sludge began to enter the wedge press section after gravity dehydration, the filter belt gap gradually narrowed, began to apply compression and shear action on the sludge, sludge dehydration.After this stage, the sludge fluidity is almost completely lost, thus ensuring that the sludge will not be squeezed out in the squeezing dehydration section under normal conditions.
The fourth stage of belt press filter processing: press dehydration stage.The sludge has been carefully designed by the repeated extrusion and shearing effect of the press roller system to remove a large amount of fine wool water, so that the sludge water gradually reduced, forming a sludge filter cake, in the separation of the heavy filter belt, the filter cake is removed by the unloading scraper.After discharging, the press cloth is cleaned to enter the next cycle.
