1. Halnn Tools PCBN Tools for Finish Hard Turning Hardened Steel Wind Power Bearings Hard Turning
The machining allowance of the slewing bearing is reserved according to the previous heat treatment process and quenching deformation. The general margin is 2-6mm. The tool needs to have excellent impact toughness and wear resistance during the machining process, so Halnn Tools recommends The integral type CBN tool BN-S20 grade, this grade is not only suitable for large diameter slewing bearing, but also suitable for non-standard bearing to replace grinding by turning. The overall quenching hardness HRC60 or more bearing ring has a large amount of one pass instead of rough grinding process. If the bearing ring with a residual amount less than 0.5mm after quenching, the BN-H20 grade of the inlaid CBN tool can be selected, and the cutting edge is more economical.

With the development of science and technology, the precision requirements for the processing of extra large bearings are getting higher and higher. Due to the limitation of the machining precision of the general CNC vertical lathe, the reaming reamer of the grinding process has a longer grinding time and lower efficiency. With the development and application of superhard tools (CBN tools), in many cold machining, grinding can be replaced by turning.
CBN tool features for hard-turned bearing:
(1) CBN tools have high oxidation resistance. When machining bearings with CBN tools, dry cutting is used as much as possible.
(2) CBN tools have a low coefficient of friction, which is conducive to the improvement of the surface quality.
