1. Halnn Tools High-speed Machining CBN Inserts Mold with BN-S20 CNGN CBN Turning Inserts
Hard milling hardened steel mold advantages
(1) High efficiency. The hard milling process saves the time taken for the design and manufacture of the EDM electrode and shortens or eliminates the tooling time of the tool fitter.
(2) High quality When hard milling the mold, the hardened tool steel is directly assembled and formed.
(3) Low cooling and lubrication requirements Normally, hard milling can be done with dry milling or with a small amount of cooling lubricant.
(4) Low investment Hard milling can be carried out on a dedicated CNC machine or machining center, or on a general machine that is modified with a high-speed spindle.
