Slot wire screen, continuous slot wire screen, wedge wire johnson filter screen
Slot wire screen is made from round wire which is first looped at regular pitched intervals and then pressed into deep wedge shaped section. The loops themselves are pressed so as to produce at each side accurately sized shoulders which butt together when the wires are assembled.
The individual slot wires are built into panels by threading cross rods of suitable diameter through the loops on the wires.
Applications Slot wire screen is particularly suitable for making up into large floor areas. The unique properties of our looped wedge floors provide a smooth surface, uniform and accurate slots and mechanical strength unrivalled by other systems.
