Product Introduction
CFV propeller-type flow indicators are typically used to monitor the proper flow and circulation of fluids in pipelines. They are a suitable choice for cooling and heating circuits, lubrication equipment, water treatment, photographic processing equipment, chemical processing, food and beverage, and plastic processing equipment. Elettrotec flow switches and indicators are typically used to monitor the flow of fluids or gases in circuits. They allow for easy reading of flow values or, when equipped with contacts, send an electronic alarm signal to a remote control panel when the flow falls below a preset value. When a liquid or gas is held in an upright position, it flows from the bottom to the top of the device, pushing the shutter along a guide tube with a variable cross-sectional area and positioning it at a flow rate that can be read on the scale marked by red graduations on the glass tube. This allows for the reading of the instantaneous flow rate in the circuit. The shutter, immersed in the liquid, moves freely without mechanical friction and, due to the magnetic field generated by an internal magnet, operates the electrical alarm contacts. Using a movable cursor with reference marks, the contact can be positioned according to the flow rate to be measured, as indicated on the side label. The cursor’s position is locked by turning the set screw located below the connector. Use with contaminant-free liquids
