1. Product Overview
Angle Bar, also known as angle iron, is an L-shaped steel with two mutually perpendicular sides and is a widely used section steel product. Angle Bar is mainly divided into Equal Angle Bar and Unequal Angle Bar. High-quality Angle Bar features excellent performance in cutting, punching, bending and welding. Equal Angle Bar and Unequal Angle Bar are extensively applied in steel structure workshops, electric power supports and curtain wall infrastructure. 2. Classification and Characteristics by Production Process
2.1 Hot Rolled Angle Bar (Mainstream Stock Product)
Hot rolled Angle Bar is formed by high-temperature rolling of steel billets and cut into fixed lengths after cooling. Conventional hot rolled Angle Bar has rolling oxide scale on the surface with stable dimensional tolerance and outstanding cost performance. Hot rolled Angle Bar possesses excellent toughness and reliable weldability. Numerous construction and steel structure projects prefer hot rolled Angle Bar. When purchasing general section steel Angle Bar, customers tend to select well-specified Equal Angle Bar and Unequal Angle Bar.
2.2 Cold Processed Angle Bar
It is cold bent from hot rolled blanks with smooth surface and higher dimensional accuracy. It is commonly used for light frames, decorative supports and small hardware components, and often supplied together with various types of Angle Bar.
2.3 Hot-dip Galvanized Angle Bar
Anti-corrosion treatment by hot-dip galvanizing is carried out on Angle Bar base material. Galvanized Angle Bar owns strong zinc coating adhesion and superior corrosion resistance.
