Washed coal products—such as coarse coal, fine coal, and filter cakes—retain high surface moisture that inflates freight costs and degrades fuel quality. This complete end-to-end system integrates feeding, heating, drying, dust collection, and intelligent controls into a unified plant solution that optimizes product moisture for maximum market value.
System Architecture & Working Principle
Material Feeding & Dispersion: Wet washed coal or cake is delivered via heavy-duty feeders into the drying unit (e.g., rotary drum or fluid bed), where internal agitators disperse agglomerates for uniform heat exposure.
Integrated Thermal Process: A dedicated hot air furnace, boiler waste-gas unit, or steam system supplies controlled heat to rapidly evaporate surface and inherent moisture.
Multi-Stage Recovery & Control: The dried clean coal is automatically discharged to storage, while an integrated dust recovery system (cyclones and baghouses) captures fine particles. An automated PLC system regulates temperature, airflow, and throughput in real time.
