Product Description
The trommel soil separator machine is a professional rotary screening equipment optimized for fine grading of soil, compost, mulch and granular materials. It is widely recognized in landscaping, waste recycling, organic fertilizer production and construction material processing for its stable performance and strong material adaptability. This unit can handle raw materials with high moisture content and high viscosity that are difficult for ordinary vibrating screens to process, delivering consistent and high-quality finished soil output. It can be used as a standalone machine or integrated into a full production line to meet different scale operation demands.
Working Principle
The whole system runs on a tilted, perforated cylindrical trommel drum driven by a motor and reducer. When raw materials are fed into the drum, the slow and steady rotation of the trommel continuously lifts, tumbles and moves materials forward. Fine soil particles smaller than the screen mesh pass through the holes smoothly, while oversized debris like stones, roots, plastic pieces and clods are guided to the discharge end by internal spiral blades and expelled out of the machine. The optional brush cleaning system automatically wipes the screen surface during operation, effectively preventing wet soil from sticking and blocking the mesh.
